Cisco Joins Global Center for Health Innovation to Showcase Healthcare Transformation

The Global Center for Health Innovation welcomes their most recent alliance with Cisco who is utilizing 900 square feet of space at the Global Center to host healthcare demos, showcase self-service interactive displays, and provide more customized, visual guidance for customers.

Cisco Healthcare Customer eXperience Center (CXC) will “create a customized and immersive visual experience that will completely transform the way we present to and interact with our healthcare customers and partners. We have now entered new territory in the way we at Cisco deliver information through this new and enhanced visual experience,” said Barbara Casey, Senior Practice Director for Healthcare Transformation, Cisco.

Through this experience Cisco will showcase its developing technologies aimed at shaping the future of the healthcare experience and solutions.

Cisco’s CXC (shown in the photo below provided by the Global Center) will have a secure and private interactive area where customers are virtually linked with Cisco healthcare and partner experts, through Cisco TelePresence® and collaboration architectures, to provide specific healthcare solutions. This highlights the evolution of mobile care health by bringing voice, video, and data securely to wherever the patient is located, and allowing for a personalized and specific healthcare solution.

The CXC will also showcase and explore how telehealth and medical devices with imbedded sensors used in collaboration with the personalized and interactive healthcare experience generates data to be analyzed and provide a proactive and predictive treatment solution for a patient. The Internet of Everything and data analytics will also aid in the improvement of operational efficiency with the potential of reducing healthcare cost.
