BrightEdge–Growing Cleveland's IT Industry
BrightEdge, a minority-owned software technology company, started in 2007 in San Mateo, California. The growing small technology business rang in the New Year with a brand new office space in the historical Terminal Tower. The award-winning business will celebrate its grand opening on January 11, 2017.
Due in part to assistance from the City’s Job Creation Incentive Program, BrightEdge’s downtown office has expanded to absorb 9,000 square feet of vacant commercial space. Mayor Jackson will welcome founders Jim Yu and Lemuel Park to Cleveland during the opening event and express the City’s excitement to see this tech company continue its growth.
BrightEdge strives to provide outstanding customer support, which they accomplish by transforming online content into tangible business results, such as increased traffic, revenue and engagement. Their S3 platform is powered by a sophisticated big data analysis engine and is capable of real-time measurement of digital content engagement. This ability allows companies to make informed decisions based on their marketing content’s actual performance.
The IT Company has a global customer base of 1,300 and includes companies like 3M, Adobe, Microsoft, VMWare, Nike, Macy’s, Wyndham, Marriott, Groupon, and Audi. It’s no wonder this business has been recognized with multiple awards.
The company is expected to grow to 75 employees at their Cleveland office but employs 300 people world-wide.
