CLE Ceramics Expo2016 - Largest Dedicated Ceramics Manufacturing Tradeshow in North America
Taking place April 26-28, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio, Ceramics Expo is the largest dedicated ceramics manufacturing tradeshow in North America. The Expo is a commercial tradeshow for all raw materials, equipment, machinery and technology used within the ceramic manufacturing supply chain.
More than 9,500 scientists, engineers, researchers, manufacturers, plant personnel, educators, students, marketing and sales professionals from more than 70 countries make up the members of The American Ceramic Society. International companies will be displaying their solutions, generating sales leads and launching new products at the 2016 exhibition, taking place at the I-X Center, Cleveland, Ohio.
Through the creation of a focused ceramics marketplace, the Ceramics Expo draws attendance from technical leaders, production directors, engineers, project leaders, buyers and senior executives interested in exploring the latest ceramic manufacturing innovations. Exhibitions will include ceramic manufacturers from a vast range of industries including transportation, automotive, aerospace, medical, electronics, military and environmental technology.
Last year, Manufacturing giants in industries highly dependent on the technical ceramics industry were in attendance, including Boeing, Apple, Ford and Honda. Also in attendance were professionals from NASA’s Glenn Research Center; several schools of ceramics affiliated with major universities in the USA, including Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland; industry scientists, researchers and more. The economic impact provided by the 2015 Ceramics Expo on the City of Cleveland was $3,304,657. This year attendance is expected to double in size.

Today, Ohio is the home of the American Ceramic Society. The Institute of Advanced Materials at Case Western Reserve University also leads in the academic study of Advanced Materials including ceramics. The state of Ohio, in partnership with the Institute, is committed to enhancing and energizing its advanced materials industrial base and manufacturing capabilities by leveraging the next generation of new materials. Ohio is widely considered a center of science and industry - the state itself having a strong representation from many key industries utilizing ceramic materials and components including the automotive, aerospace, medical and environmental technology sectors.
