First Annual "Downtown Days" Week-long Event Commences with Peddlers' Parade

Starting Monday, September 12, Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA) and the downtown community are hosting the first-ever Downtown Days, a week of community-building events for downtown residents and families. The week highlights the amount of activity taking place on a regular basis throughout the downtown neighborhood.

“We have more than 14,000 residents living in downtown, and they are building a community here. Downtown Cleveland Alliance and partners want to support this by connecting these residents to the amenities in their backyard,” says Heather Holmes, DCA’s director of marketing. “This week will help current residents, and prospective residents, learn about all the experiences and benefits downtown living can provide.”

Some of these amenities and world-class assets Downtown Cleveland has to offer include the nation’s largest performing arts center outside New York City; 26 acres of recreational waterfront; more than 36 acres of green space; award winning restaurants; unique retail corridors and more.
