Think Cavotta's Garden Center for Mother's Day and Every Day!

Cavotta’s Garden Center ushers in a new year for the urban and home gardener and is now open for the season.  Angela Cavotta is the owner of the family owned Cavotta’s Garden Center and Market Garden located at 19603 Nottingham Road which has been in business for over 80 years.

In time for Mother’s Day she is selling beautiful selections of flowers and hanging baskets. Bring your children who will be delighted and kept busy by the little chickens and hens, goats, and rabbits living on this urban farm. Angela is also an expert bee keeper and sells her honey in her store along with fresh eggs from the hens.

The Garden Center cells annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetable plants.  Cavotta’s sells over 150 varieties of tomatoes including one of the largest selections of Heirloom tomatoes. Later in the season offered for sale will be the produce that is grown on site. Support the Collinwood Neighborhood and buy local!

Cavotta’s has received assistance from the City in the form of two separate Gardening For Greenbacks Grants to assist her with her expansion plans including the building of hoop houses on site as well as the installation of water lines and irrigation systems, tools, soil and raised garden beds.

The City of Cleveland is proud to support this woman-owned business that contributes to the local supply of healthier, affordable, nutrient fruits and vegetables as well as assisting us in making our neighborhood and home gardens more beautiful.

Cavotta’s Garden Center & Urban Farm is open Monday through Friday 10-7pm; Saturday, 9-5; and Sunday 10-4pm. Check out the website http://www.cavottas.com/events.html if you are interested in raising chickens or becoming a bee keeper as training classes are offered. Call 440.897.1497 to find out more.
